Carrollton Colts Spring Select Football is a 501c3 organization founded in 2004. The purpose was, is, and always will be to promote solid character first and foremost; secondly, to get young men ready to play major High School Football at a high level. The Carrollton Colts Football Philosophy is "You become a stronger, better conditioned Football player during the off season in the weight room, but you become a better Football player, playing football in equipment against quality competition". It is our opinion that kids who play competitive tackle football in the spring, will be better prepared mentally and physically to play their freshman year in High School and beyond. We provide a safe environment that revolves around discipline, hard work, and attention to detail. We still believe that TEAMWORK makes THE DREAMWORK; and that kids must learn to effectively communicate with various types of personalities. Playing Select Football in our opinion, helps them in this area because they’ll suit up with kids from all over the Metroplex area who come from different middle schools and various backgrounds. It is never too early to begin teaching them the importance, and the effectiveness, of being able to co-exist with others who have different opinions, and different outlooks on life than they do. Mastering these traits will be paramount to their success in High School, College, and once they become a part of those who are gainfully employed.
