Corriene Davila- Thurman, was born in Dallas, TX, and was raised in Carrollton, TX all her life. She attended all local schools starting with Elementary all the way to High school, where she graduated from Newman Smith. She was involved in Orchestra where she played 1st chair violin, before graduating early in 2005. Shortly after, she worked for the Flower Mound Police Department and attended Brookhaven College where she completed courses for Nursing, EKG Tech, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), and CPR/AED training. She completed her internship at Las Colinas Medical Center (ER), Medical Center of Plano (ER), and Fire Station 1 in Farmers Branch. Corriene has volunteered her time at Children's Medical Center in Dallas helping children of all ages and was a Newborn Hearing Screener at Texas Presbyterian. Currently, she works in Home Health Care and plans on attending Nursing School, to fulfill her dream as a Registered Nurse in the spring. For the past 2 years, she has been a Team Mom for the CYFL Cougars 7-8U, 9-10U, and CYFL Eagles 7-8U, that consisted of 15-20 players. Doing so, she has helped manage Coaches, Parents, Players, and League personnel, all while being a Mom herself. Earlier in the year, she assisted the Denton Rhino's Semi-Pro Football Team by recording game film, for Coaches to review in HUDL. As the Athletic Director, she believes in instilling high standards of ethics, sportsmanship, and personal conduct in members of the coaching staff and the athletes representing the organization. The value of winning should never be placed above the value of instilling the highest desirable ideals of character.
